I live in Fremont, California, which is the largest city in the Bay Area (California) you have never heard of. I used to live in Berkeley, which is a much smaller nearby city you have heard of.

My Todo List
- Trying to mass-update all Bay Area cities with entries for major-chain motels.
- I'd like to look into using some screen-scraping packages to automate this, but it'd hardly a requirement.
- Alternately, the original plan A is to go through chain-by-chain collecting motels in the Bay Area.
- Check my photos to see if any of them fit.
- Bristlecone Pine Forest
- Mt. Whitney
- Owens Valley -- I think I may have some that are good representives of the Eastern Sierra.
- Continue working on Eastern Sierra
- Lee Vining or Mono Lake is needed most. Need to find out if Mono Lake passes the "can I sleep there test."
- Manzanar Relocation Camp (National Park) does not pass the "can I sleep there" test but I think it ought to have an entry. Need to write up a proposal for why, and discuss it in the policy section.
- Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest
- Smaller Owens Valley cities. Especially Independence since the museum there has the best display of information about Manzanar.
- Fix Walnut Creek under the principle that, since I broke it, I've bought it.
- Fix Bay Area (California) sub-regions. Need a South Bay both for technical reasons (some cities like Fremont really don't belong in any of the existing categories) and also because in the Bay Area, people refer to the South Bay more often than they refer to the Silicon Valley.
